Keepsake Clearances

HomeAbout

Named for the things we don't remove

The keepsakes are set aside first. Everything follows from that.
Who we are

A small crew, from the slope above the beach

Keepsake Clearances is a small local crew built around one observation: when a Balmoral house finally has to be emptied, what the family fears is not the emptying. It is what might be lost in it. The photographs somewhere in the sideboard, the letters in the hall cupboard, the medals nobody has seen since the funeral before this one.

So we made the set-aside the first act of every clearance, put the promise in the name, and built the rest of the business the way the name demands: one price fixed before the lifting starts, donation before disposal, swept rooms and returned keys at the end.

The other six days of the week we are exactly what the van suggests: a fast, polite pickup crew for fridges, mattresses, garden loads and everything else a harbour suburb needs gone. Same crew, same manners, brighter pace.

How we work

Manners you can lean on in a hard week

  • We look before we quote. A price given without seeing the job is an estimate in better clothes, and estimates have a habit of growing. Ours holds, because we looked first.
  • We call before we decide. If we are unsure whether something matters, work stops and the phone comes out. No exceptions, no hurry.
  • We say what we can't do. Asbestos, chemicals and clinical waste go to licensed specialists, and we will point you to them rather than improvise.
  • We keep the street onside. Quiet loading, no blocked driveways, a swept kerb. You live here afterwards; so do we.
  • We answer plainly. On dates, on what happens to things, on what the price covers. If an answer would not survive being repeated at a family dinner, we do not give it.

For the professionals

If you refer us, we make you look right

Solicitors, agents, aged-care and funeral staff send families to us at the worst week of their year, and we take that trust seriously: on time, discreet, everything in writing, and the family treated the way you would want your own treated.

If you handle estates or listings around Mosman and want to know exactly how we work before you put a name to us, read the walkthrough, then introduce yourself. We are happy to be checked out.

Talk it through

Whenever you are ready

Tell us a little about the house, the move or the pickup. We will come back to you promptly, arrange a time to look, and agree the price before anything is lifted.
